Chantal Elie-Sernoskie, Director
Born in Boucherville Quebec, raised in Embrun Ontario, Chantal has loved the stage since the young age of 3 months when she played Jesus in her church christmas show. She has always participated in choirs, theatre, danse and music. She knew she wanted to act after being in her highschool productions of Les Belles Soeurs by Michel Tremblay. The experience of making someone's day by adding a little humour into their lives has been her drive ever since. She went on to study at Ottawa University and graduated from Ryerson U in Fine Arts. Ryerson has allowed her to be exposed to many theatre connections in the business and experiences with a variety of style of acting such as musical theatre, cabaret, Shakespeare, modern, film and tv, commercials, clown, and the list goes on. After taking experiencing a director's workshop in Stratford, ON she realized how unique and incredible Stonefence theatre. Her four children inspire her and she hopes to inspire them. Creativity takes courage, it is not being afraid to fail, to be wrong. As Einstein said: " You never fail until you stop trying. "
