The Stone Fence Theatre Crew
Ish Theilheimer, Producer
Ish lives on the Bonnechere River near Golden Lake with life partner Kathy Eisner. He started working as a playwright in 1980 with the Upper Madawaska Theatre, with which he co-wrote, wrote or contributed to six shows. With Stone Fence Theatre, he has produced and written or collaborated on 15 shows and dozens of songs. His experience with the now-iconic Wilno Express, writing news features about Valley personalities for the Ottawa Citizen, and working in the community informs what he puts onstage today.
Chantal Elie-Sernoskie, Director
Born in Boucherville Quebec, raised in Embrun Ontario, Chantal met her husband doing a short film called "The Threshold" in Renfrew with Stmaxmedia films. He introduced her to the Valley and she hasn't looked back since. She studied at Ottawa U and graduated from Ryerson U in Fine Arts. She plays in a band with her husband and loves to sing, dance, act, and play piano (and occasionally the accordion, which brings her back to her French roots!) Her kids inspire her and she hopes to inspire them. For her theatre is being real, is being true to oneself and not trying to act, but to react. Chantal is grateful for the wide talent in the County and grateful that they have stepped up to be a part of these productions. It means a lot.
Terry Mask, Technical Director
Born and raised in the area, Terry found his way back to the Ottawa Valley after attending the Humber College music program and working in the Pro Audio and Musical Instrument industry in Toronto and Ottawa. He also sustains his musician, music producer and live sound engineer roles working with some of the area’s most talented performers. Terry enjoys the rural life with his family, including his wife, Erin and two musically talented teenage daughters. He says, “I’ve always had the utmost respect for the theatre’s ability to temporarily transform reality to take us to another time and place. I’m so pleased to now be contributing to this goal on a technical level with the talented crew at Stone Fence Theatre.”
Amy Rouillard, Business Manager
Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, Amy is very happy to be back after many years away working in arts administration and front of house for a number of organizations, including the Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, imagineNATIVE and Fringe Festival. She has a personal terror of singing, dancing or acting herself, but she admires and loves to work with all these creative folks helping to bring their vision to an audience.
